Cooking great BBQ is not just preparing food, smoking is a skill that takes years to master. At Smoke & Steel, our head chef has more than a decade of BBQ experience in Maine as well as other states. Chef & pitmaster Chris worked extensively with our local owners to create a unique and adventurous BBQ menu featuring delicious items you might expect and some custom dishes that will pleasantly surprise you.

AXE THROWING
Smoke & Steel features five axe-throwing lanes for some serious fun or thrilling league competition! We’re so excited to bring this sport to Bangor! Axe Throwing makes the perfect venue for a team-building activity, bachelor, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, gender reveals, or even divorce parties! So, you tell us. Are you ready to “throwdown” with friends or foes?

BAR
We have one of the biggest and best stocked bars in the entire region. We feature a wide variety of national and local favorites on our 16 beer taps. We have all of your favorite spirits including a massive selection of more than 60 whiskey brands! Rub elbows with old and new friends while watching the Axe throwing action or your favorite team on our big screens. And we serve our full BBQ menu at the bar as well.
